New Website Lends Ease and Accessibility to Customers With the Addition of an Online Store and Blog

BEND, OR. – February 28, 2017 – Bend Pet Express (BPE), Central Oregon’s leading pet store is pleased to announce the launch of its redesigned website and refreshed logo. Serving pet lovers and their four-legged friends since 1993, the new website and refreshed logo is a further extension of the company’s commitment to its valued customers and community.
“At Bend Pet Express our main goal, as it has been for the past 24 years, is to provide our customers with the absolute best products, pet food, resources and knowledge to care for their pets,” said Julie Hunter, owner and president of Bend Pet Express. “Since our inception we have strived to be progressive and on the forefront of industry trends when it comes to the importance of taking care of furry friends. With that comes enhancements to all aspects of our business, thus the reason we spent some time redesigning our website and refreshing our logo.”
The new website offers a clean, more streamlined aesthetic, making it easier for customers to navigate throughout the site with ease and efficiency. An online store has been added as well as a blog page that will be updated often to provide customers information on the latest events, happenings and promotions taking place at the stores and within the community. The blog will also include industry trends as they pertain to the well being of pets. In the redesigned logo BPE’s signature ‘paw print’ is no longer. The new logo now in the colors of white and orange is approachable, friendly and clean with the focus of the design being on the ‘Pet’ in ‘Bend Pet Express.’
Bend Pet Express was established in 1993 by president and owner Julie Hunter who received her first lesson in pet nutrition after an emergency trip to the vet where she learned that what she was feeding her dog CJ was far from healthy. Furthermore, Hunter would never be able to feed CJ dog food purchased from a grocery store again. After changing CJ’s regimen to a premium pet food and seeing the improvement to his overall health, Hunter decided to shift her career. She feverishly studied pet nutrition and set a new goal: to educate the public and help four-legged friends live longer, healthier lives.
What started as a delivery service of premium dog food for customers living in Bend, turned into a brick-and-mortar storefront in the town of Sisters, Oregon, in just six-months. There, BPE’s reputation for being resourceful and knowledgeable about their products continued to grow and prosper as did Hunter’s business. In 1998 Westside store was added and the Eastside store in 1995.
BPE continues to strive to help make Bend a better place for pets and their owners. The company hosts a number of fundraisers, events and donations yearly and works with many local organizations and rescue shelters to support efforts within the community.
